Hi. I’m Brooke ‘Bo’ Bolander or Bo ‘Brooke’ Bolander. I’m a Nebula and Locus Award-winning author of “angry, ethically bankrupt misandry” according to at least one reviewer, although I prefer to just call it ‘weird shit’. I’ve been shortlisted for the Hugo, Shirley Jackson, Theodore Sturgeon, World Fantasy, and British Fantasy Awards. I like loud music, peaty single malt scotch, cool bugs, history both natural and social, old furniture, older houses, moving images put together to tell a cohesive story, and rambling about all of the above. A couple times a week I’ll try and drop into your inbox to talk about weird comics from 1910, chairs with claws, what I’m reading, what I’m watching, what I’m working on—you know, whatever.
